1. What is a cookie?

Depending on how they are configured, cookies can serve a variety of purposes, such as storing user preferences, collecting usage statistics, enabling technical functions, or supporting security measures.

- Location information: IP address, time zone and, where applicable, mobile network provider, which allows Us to determine an approximate general location.
- Browsing information: frequency of use, sections visited, features used, time spent on the Site.
- Security and abuse-prevention data: behavioural signals collected by Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish human users from bots and protect the Site from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA processing is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
4. What types of cookies are there ?
By purpose:
Essential for the Site to function. They enable basic features such as page navigation, form submission and security. They cannot be disabled without affecting Site functionality.
Measure and collect anonymous statistics about how users interact with the Site — pages visited, time spent, errors encountered. Used to improve Site performance and content.
Remember choices you have made (e.g. language, region) so the Site can provide a more personalised experience on your next visit.
Track your browsing habits across sites to build a profile used to personalise advertising content. Skyconseil does not currently use advertising cookies; this category is listed for completeness.
By origin:
- First-party cookies: set by Skyconseil directly from the guidor.fr domain.
- Third-party cookies: set by external providers (e.g. Google) operating from their own domains. These are identified in Section 5 below.
By duration:
- Session cookies: active only while you are browsing. Deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a defined period (from minutes to years) until they expire or you delete them.

6. Legal basis for cookie processing
Necessary cookies are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art.6(1)(f) GDPR) in ensuring the technical operation and security of the Site. They cannot be disabled as doing so would prevent the Site from functioning properly. Google reCAPTCHA: this Site uses Google reCAPTCHA (provided by Google LLC, USA) as a security measure to protect against spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information, including device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis. This processing is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and processes data under Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. How to accept, refuse or withdraw consent
The first time you access our Site, a cookie consent banner will appear allowing you to accept, configure or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is saved and applied on subsequent visits.
